Dr. Anuj Sonawala, MD

Anuj is board-certified in AP/CP and is the Chairman of the Quest Diagnostics/AmeriPath GI and Liver Resource Committee. Dr.Sonawala's professional interests are centered on Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) in both pediatric and adult populations, Barrett’s esophagus and progression to dysplasia, and Eosinophilic Esophagitis. He is also keenly involved in the application of Artificial Intelligence in IBD, particularly developing AI algorithms associated with IBD.

He has contributed to the field with his publication, "A Comparative Immunohistochemical Analysis of Small Round Cell Tumors of Childhood: Utility of Peripherin and Alpha-Internexin as Markers for Neuroblastomas," which showcases his dedication to advancing medical knowledge.
