Dr Murugan is an expert in Genitourinary, Bone and Soft Tissue Pathology.
Dr. Murugan has contributed over 75 peer-reviewed publications, numerous scientific meeting presentations, book chapters and has lectured nationally and internationally. He is an associate editor for the journal Diagnostic Pathology and member of the College of American Pathologists' Cancer Committee. He also serves as Medical Director of the University of Minnesota CTSI's Biorepository and Laboratory Services.
