August 4th 2022, Dublin, Ireland – Diagnexia, Deciphex’s tele-pathology care provider and Saudi Ajal Medical Laboratories, a leader in the medical laboratory market of Saudi Arabia, today announced a strategic collaboration to offer expert consultation pathology service in Saudi Arabia.

The partnership combines Diagnexia’s international network of subspeciality pathologists with Saudi Ajal’s laboratory facilities to offer high quality telepathology consultation services. The joint venture means Diagnexia’s “Virtual” pathology department can provide expertise on clinical cases, while vastly reducing turnaround times and ensuring delivery of the highest quality of patient care.

Diagnexia is a cloud based platform that facilitates the secure sharing, analysis and consumption of digital pathology. The platform connects laboratories worldwide to an international network of subspeciality pathologists, who can provide their expertise on clinical cases.
Saudi Ajal Medical Laboratories were established in Saudi Arabia, Riyadh in 2009 and started as a clinical studies centre specialised in Pharmaceutical Bioequivalence Studies. In 2017, Saudi Ajal established a medical laboratory but in 2019 Saudi Ajal medical laboratory became a leader in medical laboratory market in the kingdom as it was part of fighting COVID-19 virus pandemic by using its capabilities and new technology to support COVID-19 testing activities in Saudi Arabia, Riyadh region.
